Rain sensor

The rain gauge, also referred to as a rain sensor, transmits precipitation data directly to the control panel and the Irricontrol platform.
This information is recorded and used for precise irrigation planning and operational management.

Additionally, the rain gauge can be programmed to automatically start or stop the pivot, or to automatically adjust the applied water volume (lamina) according to the actual rainfall during irrigation.

Pressure sensor

The pressure sensor enables continuous monitoring of the water pressure in the pivot system.
This allows for early detection of potential issues such as clogged nozzles, sudden pressure drops, or other malfunctions.

As a result, quick intervention is possible, preventing performance losses or damage to the system – ensuring reliable and efficient irrigation without interruptions.

Underground control cables are often susceptible to damage or disconnection due to heavy tractor loads or accidental interference during routine operations.
Such faults can severely compromise pivot system functionality. Locating the exact point of failure is typically difficult, frequently necessitating complete cable replacement – a process that is both labor-intensive and costly.

SPOTi offers a practical solution to this challenge.
The device provides a functional substitute for a damaged or missing safety/control cable and is specifically designed for pivot systems equipped with a Nexus control panel.
